Iarla Mongey FAOI
has been the main optician behind Mongeys for the past 40 years. Its goes without saying that he brings wide breadth of experience and knowledge to the practice. He has a particular interest in binocular vision & considerable expertise in rigid gas permeable (RGP) fitting.

Aine Higgins Bsc MCOptom
is from Antrim and qualified from the University of Ulster in 1999.Her main interest is children’s eyecare, special needs and Down’s Syndrome. She has published several research articles on the subject. She has just been accepted onto the City University/Moorefield’s Eye hospital masters course, being one of the first Irish opticians to do so.

Damien Brehony FAOI
hails from Carrick-on-Shannon. He qualified from DIT in 1999.He has worked extensively in independent and multiple practise in Ireland and the UK. He also worked in the Ophthalmology department of the Royal Hospital in Liverpool specialising in diabetic screening, pre and post-cataract assessment and low vision aids.
